Job summary

Rotana Ras Al Khaimah - The Mangroves is seeking a motivated Kitchen Steward to join our Food & Beverage team in Ras Al Khaimah. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all kitchen areas, equipment and storage spaces while working closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate has vocational training in food & beverage and prior kitchen steward experience, with good command of English.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in food & beverage is preferred.
• Previous experience as Kitchen Steward is advantageous.
• English language skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food processing facilities, storage areas, walk-in fridges, kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operations.
• Adhere to duty schedule and shift patterns.
• Perform stewarding tasks per instructions.
• Minimize wastage, breakage and spoilage.

• Clean food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk in fridge’s, kitchen utensils, immediate corridors and holding areas as well as the operation equipment
• Work in close cooperation with all kitchen and service employees
• Work as per duty schedule and shifts
• Perform all stewarding tasks as per given instructions
• Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a vocational training in food & beverage with previous experiences as a Kitchen Steward. Command of English is essential.
