Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons suitable for kindergarten learners.
- Create age-appropriate activities that support early literacy and numeracy.
- Develop children 's communication, listening, and language skills.
- Introduce foundational mathematical concepts through practical learning activities.
- Use play-based, interactive, and structured teaching approaches.
- Support children 's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Establish clear routines that help young learners develop independence and confidence.
- Prepare lesson plans and learning resources aligned with school expectations.
- Apply CBSE academic standards appropriately within the KG phase.
- Maintain awareness of KHDA requirements relevant to classroom practice.
- Observe and document children 's learning and developmental progress.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt activities accordingly.
- Provide additional support to children requiring reinforcement.
- Encourage creativity through art, music, storytelling, movement, and practical activities.
- Promote positive behavior and respectful interaction among students.
- Develop fine and gross motor skills through suitable classroom activities.
- Support early reading, phonics, vocabulary, and pre-writing skills.
- Use questioning and exploration to encourage curiosity and independent thinking.
- Maintain student portfolios, assessment records, and progress documentation.
- Communicate student progress with parents and relevant school staff.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other educators.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain classroom resources and learning materials in an organized manner.
- Support smooth transition and settling-in arrangements for young learners.
- Be available for immediate joining.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor of Education is mandatory.
- MOFA-attested educational qualification is required.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
- Previous Kindergarten teaching experience is mandatory.
- Understanding of KHDA regulations.
- Knowledge of CBSE academic standards.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Ability to plan age-appropriate learning activities.
- Good knowledge of early literacy and numeracy.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
