Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking a Kitchen Junior Sous Chef to support the Restaurant Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations. This role ensures the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and service while supervising kitchen staff, maintaining efficiency, and assisting with menu planning and quality control.

What you bring includes 5+ years of luxury-brand kitchen experience, a culinary diploma, and strong leadership and English communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a luxury kitchen environment.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring abilities.
• Knowledge of menu planning, hygiene and safety standards.
• Proficient in English with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen operations across all sections.
• Supervise Chef de Partie and junior kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and safety standards.
• Support menu development, food costing and inventory management.
• Monitor food quality and consistency across sections.
• Train, mentor and motivate kitchen staff to high performance.
• Assist in planning and executing events, banquets and functions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
