Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking a Kitchen Junior Sous Chef to support the Restaurant Chef and Sous Chef in luxury kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and service.

With at least five years in a luxury brand, a culinary diploma, and strong leadership and English proficiency, you will mentor staff, assist menu development and events while upholding hygiene, sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a luxury-brand kitchen.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent training.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and safety standards.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise chefs and junior staff.
• Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and safety compliance.
• Support menu development, food costing, and inventory management.
• Assist in planning special events and functions.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
