Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Abu Dhabi, Al Maryah Island, seeks a Commis I to support the chefs in daily kitchen operations and uphold Four Seasons standards. You will prepare items, assist with recipes, and contribute to a high-quality dining experience for guests.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a luxury-brand kitchen, strong English communication, teamwork, and a proactive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• A minimum of at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand.
• Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to assigned tasks.
• High level of understanding and knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
• Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.
• Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef.
