Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, part of Minor International, seeks a kitchen-oriented professional to assist in food preparation and service. You will support mise-en-place for outlets and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards on site in Ras Al Khaimah.

The role requires teamwork, basic knife skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced luxury kitchen environment. Training and exposure to high-end cuisine and hotel operations await.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene.
• Basic knife skills and kitchen equipment operation.
• Understanding of food storage, stock rotation, and waste control.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Food Handler or Food Safety Certificate.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the preparation & service of food, prepare mis-en-place for the outlets as required.
• Adhere to food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to our guests.
• Continually look to recommend improvements and additions to the Minor Hotels presentation guidelines.
• To keep all working areas clean and tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.
• Maintain food safety & protection.
• All food in working areas should be in compliance with food handling techniques, including dating, proper storage, rotation, etc.
• Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Assisting at events, banquets and other functions as required
• Adhering to all personal hygiene and grooming standards, fire safety rules and health & safety rules.
