Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and substitute items, regulate oven temperatures, and thaw frozen foods.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and garnish; maintain food logs.
• Communicate needs during busy periods; inform Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; ensure food quality and standards.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and maintain professional appearance.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals; adhere to quality expectations.
