• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare payment vouchers and assist with transfers and cheques.
• Review employee expense claims before processing.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, credit and debit notes, and payments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on approvals.
• Assist with month-end close, AP reconciliations, and accruals.
• Support VAT documentation and UAE VAT compliance.
• Assist auditors with required financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices with the required supporting documents.
• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes, and related documentation.
• Record invoices and payment transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Monitor supplier balances and ensure payments are made on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare payment vouchers and assist with bank transfers, cheques, and other payment methods.
• Review employee expense claims before processing.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and payment documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding pending approvals and invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, accounts payable reconciliations, and accrual entries.
• Support VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing the required financial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role; fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations will be an advantage.
