Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking an IT Technician to provide technical support and maintain the hotel's information systems, hardware, software and network infrastructure in Dubai. You will support PMS, POS, guest Wi‑Fi, IPTV and telephony, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime for guests and team members.

• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of equipment and licenses.

The IT Technician supports hotel technology platforms and assists in maintaining compliance with Minor Hotels' IT standards and security requirements.

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Support hotel applications and systems including PMS, POS, guest Wi-Fi, IPTV, key card systems, and telephony solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor network connectivity and ensure reliable operation of hotel technology services.
• Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and email accounts.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, updates, and security patches.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of equipment and licenses.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and recovering IT equipment and system access.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and data protection requirements.
