Noorka Logistics in Dubai is seeking an IT Support Engineer to maintain our IT systems and deliver timely technical assistance to staff. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, hardware and software support, and ensuring reliable services to power daily logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will handle user accounts, Windows and Microsoft 365, antivirus, backups, and IT security procedures, while coordinating with vendors and supporting logistics software and office applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience as an IT Support Engineer or Help Desk is preferred.
• Strong hardware, OS, and software troubleshooting knowledge.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, printers, and office apps.
• Basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi‑Fi.

The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of computer hardware and software, and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently. This role is important for ensuring reliable IT services and supporting the company’s daily logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and IT-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot operating system, application, network, and connectivity problems.
• Set up and manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
• Monitor network connectivity and resolve basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet issues.
• Perform routine system updates, software installations, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic information security procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences, and support requests.
• Provide technical assistance for logistics software, shipment tracking systems, and office applications.
• Diagnose hardware faults and coordinate equipment repairs or replacements when necessary.
• Install and update antivirus software and follow company IT security policies.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and recurring system problems.
• Support employees with IT-related questions and provide clear instructions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an IT Support Engineer, IT Technician, or Help Desk Executive is preferred.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, printers, and common office applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of antivirus tools, data backup, and IT security practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize support requests and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with different departments.
• Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
