Job summary

Rotana is seeking an IT Supervisor in Abu Dhabi to oversee hardware, software, and network operations within a hotel environment. You will serve as the primary IT contact for servicing computers, printers, and related systems, while maintaining documentation, inventories, and user access controls.

The role requires a degree in information technology and hands-on experience with fault finding, system maintenance, and delivering proactive support in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in information technology and proven experience in the same role.
• Good command of English and ability to fault/find and rectify subsystems.
• Hands-on and flexible approach; ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and ensure it is operating properly.
• Serve as primary contact for servicing of computers/printers/etc.
• Maintain inventory of all office and computer supplies
• Update hardware and software logs per procedures
• Document hardware configuration and inventory
• Document telephone system configuration and all MPT lines
• Understand and perform department procedures
• Carry out repairs/maintenance of PCs/printers/telephones/interactive systems
• Manage user access requests and authorizations (Win2000/Email/Opera/Micros/Novell)
• Respond to user requests and provide adequate support
