Inventory Planning and Execution

• Allocate assigned bins, areas, and inventory tasks among team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Monitor and execute daily scanning activities according to the approved plan.
• Ensure assigned bins and inventory activities are completed within defined timelines.
• Track progress throughout operations and address delays or incomplete activities.

Team Supervision

• Lead and supervise Inventory Control Assistants during daily operations.
• Brief team members on daily targets, priorities, processes, and operational requirements.
• Monitor individual and team productivity against assigned targets.
• Provide on-the-job guidance on scanning, counting, and inventory control procedures.
• Ensure team members follow established processes while maintaining discipline and productivity.

Scanning and Bin Management

• Oversee barcode scanning of merchandise using PDT and RF scanning devices.
• Ensure assigned bins are scanned and completed accurately and systematically.
• Monitor scanning progress and identify incomplete bins, delays, and operational bottlenecks.
• Conduct random checks to verify that merchandise has been correctly scanned, counted, and recorded.
• Ensure misplaced, damaged, unidentified, or duplicate items are reported and addressed appropriately.

Inventory Accuracy and Reconciliation

• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies identified during scanning and stock counts.
• Coordinate recounts and verification activities when required.
• Document inventory discrepancies and **escalate** them to the relevant supervisor or manager.
• Ensure scanning productivity targets are achieved without compromising inventory accuracy.
• Support accurate system updates in line with established inventory control processes.

Productivity and Reporting

• Track daily team performance against scanning volumes, bin completion, inventory accuracy, and productivity targets.
• Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and productivity updates, identify performance gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant supervisor or manager.

Retail Operations Coordination

• Work closely with the Retail Store Manager or In-Charge, stockroom teams, and other relevant functions to coordinate inventory activities and maintain an efficient flow of work.

PDT and System Management

• Ensure team members use PDT and RF scanning devices correctly.
• Report device, system, barcode, and other technical issues that could affect inventory operations.
• Ensure inventory information is accurately updated in the relevant systems.
• Maintain adherence to defined scanning and inventory control procedures.

Compliance and Safety

• Follow company inventory procedures, SOPs, and retail operational guidelines.
• Promote safe handling of merchandise and inventory equipment.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Ensure inventory is handled correctly to minimize stock loss, damage, and discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor 's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Retail Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, stock management, warehouse operations, or retail operations.
• Previous retail experience is preferred, particularly in large-scale retail, fashion, lifestyle, FMCG, or multi-store environments.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Experience using PDT devices, RF scanners, barcode scanning equipment, or inventory management systems is an advantage.
