Job summary

Al Manarah Insurance Services - Dubai Branch, part of Chedid Capital Group, seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business, manage a robust sales pipeline, and deliver tailored insurance solutions, with a particular emphasis on SME clients.

Responsibilities include lead generation, needs analysis, proposing programs, negotiating deals, cross-selling, maintaining a personal pipeline, and monthly pipeline reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales in UAE or GCC markets in General and Medical Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Introduce new leads to the company and ensure their effective conversion into prospects and clients
• Analyze prospects and clients’ needs and requirements
• Design and propose suitable insurance programs and solutions
• Lead negotiations and ensure successful deal closing
• Cross-sell additional and new lines of business to existing prospects and clients
• Manage and maintain a personal pipeline of leads and prospects, ensuring continuous development
• Provide regular (monthly) reporting on pipeline development and business progress
• Develop a strong understanding of the domestic insurance market, including product scope, pricing comparisons, and insurers’ responsiveness and service quality (including claims handling)
• Stay abreast of global insurance industry developments and assess their potential impact on the domestic market
• Implement related policies and procedures in line with company standards
• Contribute to the preparation of reports for management and business tracking purposes
• Coach and support team members to ensure optimal performance (where applicable)
