Job summary

AECOM MIDDLE EAST LIMITED DUBAI BRANCH is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure in Dubai. You will deliver accurate quantity assessments, cost estimates, and measurements for major infrastructure projects, collaborating with project teams and senior professionals across the region.

The role emphasizes precision, adherence to CESMM/POMI standards, and involvement in cost control, tender evaluation, and BIM-enabled measurement activities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–6 years of professional experience in quantity surveying or measurement roles.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing quantity take-offs and BOQs from 2D and 3D documentation.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and infrastructure project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models with precision and accuracy.
• Develop comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) aligned with project requirements and recognized measurement standards.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project documentation to identify scope, quantities, and potential measurement challenges.
• Ensure all measurements comply with established standards and methodologies (CESMM, POMI, or equivalent).
• Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for infrastructure projects.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify cost elements, risks, and discrepancies.
• Contribute to cost control initiatives and provide data-driven insights to support project decision-making.
• Assist in tender evaluation and cost benchmarking activities.
