Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Sous Chef – IndoPersian to join its Culinary team. You will oversee the Indo-Persian kitchen, lead and coach staff, and manage inventory while ensuring top-tier quality and presentation of dishes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in a 5-star kitchen, strong Indo-Persian knowledge, and robust leadership, with flexibility to work shifts in a high-end UAE resort setting.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; culinary qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indo-Persian cuisine and cost control.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and health/safety compliance.
• Minimum 8 years in a 5-star kitchen with Indo-Persian experience.
• Flexibility to work shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Indo-Persian kitchen to ensure efficiency and adherence to culinary standards.
• Monitor resource consumption and optimize equipment, ingredients, and inventory.
• Develop weekly set menus, monthly promotions, and seasonal offerings with the Executive Chef.
• Ensure all dishes meet recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Lead, coach, and support the kitchen team to maintain high performance and teamwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and HACCP-compliant hygiene in kitchen and equipment.
• Address guest requests and feedback to enhance the dining experience.
• Uphold health and safety practices and perform other duties as required.
