Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Chef de Partie – IndoPersian Cuisine to join the Culinary team. You will oversee daily IndoPersian kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient workflow in a luxury resort setting.

The role requires strong knife skills, HACCP knowledge, leadership, and the ability to mentor and coordinate with teammates across shifts. On-site work in the UAE with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or above; relevant culinary training is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and culinary techniques.
• Proficient knife skills and HACCP/food safety familiarity.
• Demonstrated leadership to mentor and develop team members.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across levels.
• Highly organized for inventory, schedules, and daily kitchen ops.
• Attention to detail with focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IndoPersian fine dining kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high food quality.
• Monitor food prep, portions, inventory, and kitchen costs.
• Ensure freshness and safe storage, complying with HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Manage stock levels, requisition ingredients, and optimize resources.
• Deliver guest experiences by ensuring food quality and accommodating requests.
• Support, train, and supervise kitchen team members with coaching.
• Promote a safe, collaborative work environment and compliance with policies and safety standards.
