Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a motivated Junior Executive—Import/Export Logistics to manage end-to-end shipments from Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA). The ideal candidate will handle documentation, carrier coordination and client communications to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Requirements include 2–3 years in import/export, UAE logistics knowledge, and willingness to work on-site. The role covers freight, customs coordination and warehousing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Import/Export, Logistics, Shipping or Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of UAE import/export, customs, re-export, transit and freight forwarding procedures.
• Experience with ports, warehouses, cargo clearance, release and delivery coordination.
• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site when operational requirements demand.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end import/export, re-export and transit shipments.
• Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, courier companies, freight forwarders, customs, transporters, warehouses, suppliers and clients.
• Handle AWBs, Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin and export documentation.
• Coordinate airfreight, sea freight, courier, Jebel Ali Port, Dubai Trade, DAFZA and warehouse operations.
• Track shipments: ETA/ETD, cargo status, documentation, clearance and delivery.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations and logistics rates.
• Check freight invoices and logistics charges.
• Manage client and stakeholder communication via email and WhatsApp.
• Coordinate driver collections, deliveries, warehouse activities and operations.

• Track shipments ETA ETD cargo status documentation clearance and delivery
• Obtain and compare freight quotations and logistics rates
• Check freight invoices logistics charges and shipment costs
• Manage client and stakeholder communication through email and WhatsApp

• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
• Visit ports warehouses and loading locations when required
• Handle urgent shipment follow-ups and resolve operational issues promptly
