Job summary

nx is seeking an experienced ICT Presales Engineer to support the design and proposal of ICT technology solutions. The role involves understanding client requirements, developing technical solutions, preparing proposals and BOQs, conducting presentations, and working closely with sales, project and technical teams.

You will conduct site surveys, design network and infrastructure solutions, coordinate with vendors, and assist in tender submissions while staying current with new ICT technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in ICT/IT Presales or Solutions Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centre and cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.
• Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
• Design and develop solutions covering networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud and enterprise technologies.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and gather technical requirements from clients.
• Prepare network and infrastructure solution designs, diagrams and architecture.
• Coordinate with sales teams to develop technically and commercially viable proposals.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and POCs for clients.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and distributors for product selection, specifications and pricing.
• Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Work closely with project and implementation teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible.
• Stay updated on new ICT technologies, products and industry solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical clarification throughout the sales cycle.
