Job summary

Reuters in Dubai seeks an accomplished Sales Director to lead MEA growth, manage a Dubai-based BDM team, and expand into underpenetrated markets. You will drive the regional revenue plan, guide complex multi-stakeholder negotiations, and build a resilient partner ecosystem with resellers and technology partners.

The role requires 15+ years in sales, GCC experience, and travel up to 30–40%. Strong Arabic and English fluency is essential for leadership across government and enterprise buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of sales experience including 5+ years leading teams.
• Experience selling software or data-driven solutions.
• Extensive GCC and Saudi market experience with client network.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Own regional revenue plan and set sales targets.
• Lead and coach a team of Business Development Managers in Dubai.
• Expand into underpenetrated markets across MEA.
• Develop channel partnerships with resellers and distributors.
• Negotiate and close with government and senior buyers.
• Maintain pipeline visibility and accurate revenue forecasts.
