Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Payroll Assistant in the United Arab Emirates for a hybrid, part-time role that supports day-to-day payroll administration, employee payroll records, salary processing, attendance information, and payroll documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and reliable coordination with HR and finance teams. You will collect, review, and maintain payroll data, process salaries and deductions, and assist with monthly reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll, payroll administration, HR administration, accounting support, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Good understanding of payroll processing, employee records, attendance, deductions, and salary administration.
• Strong numerical and data-entry accuracy.
• Comfortable using Excel, spreadsheets, payroll systems, HRIS, ERP, or accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily payroll administration and salary processing activities.
• Collect, review, and maintain employee payroll information and supporting documents.
• Process payroll data including salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and other adjustments.
• Review attendance, leave, working hours, and other payroll-related information.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, spreadsheets, and payroll system data.
• Assist with monthly payroll preparation and payroll reconciliation.
• Identify and follow up on missing, inconsistent, or incorrect payroll information.
• Coordinate with HR, finance, employees, and relevant departments on payroll requirements.
• Support employee changes including new hires, transfers, salary adjustments, and departures.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, payment schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll-related invoices, payment files, approvals, and records where required.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
• Support payroll audits, document requests, and internal reporting.
• Assist with improving payroll administration procedures and record-keeping processes.
