Job summary

Carrier in Dubai seeks a Sales Engineer – Aftermarket, Modernization to grow HVAC modernization and retrofit solutions. You will manage the full sales cycle—from identifying retrofit opportunities to technical solution development, proposals, presentations, negotiations, and closing orders.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in HVAC, strong English, and a technical-commercial mindset to serve building owners, consultants, and facility managers while collaborating with engineering and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferably in sales, aftermarket, retrofit, modernization, or project business.
• Good technical understanding of HVAC systems: chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, controls, and associated systems.
• Basic understanding of HVAC retrofit, replacement, and modernization projects.
• Good commercial awareness and willingness to develop sales and customer management skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Based in Dubai, UAE, with UAE driving license and own car.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities through customer visits and market activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, consultants, contractors, and facility management companies.
• Visit customer sites to assess existing HVAC equipment and identify replacement and modernization requirements.
• Develop and present suitable technical and commercial solutions, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, controls, pumps, and other HVAC systems.
• Prepare proposals and manage opportunities from initial enquiry through follow‑up, negotiation, and order closure.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve assigned sales, order intake, and margin targets.
• Work closely with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to deliver suitable solutions and proposals.
• Maintain accurate sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in Carrier’s CRM.
