Carrier in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer Aftermarket Modernization to grow HVAC modernization and retrofit business by identifying opportunities to modernize aging systems, developing technical and commercial proposals, and closing orders.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years HVAC sales experience, deep knowledge of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and controls, and can lead end-to-end sales processes while building long-term customer relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in HVAC industry, preferably in HVAC sales aftermarket retrofit modernization or project business.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems including chillers AHUs FCUs pumps and controls.
• Good understanding of HVAC retrofit replacement and modernization projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage the complete sales cycle.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Based in Abu Dhabi UAE.
• Valid UAE driving license and own car for site visits.

Aufgaben

• Identify, develop, qualify and convert HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities across assigned markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, consultants, contractors, facility management companies and key decision-makers.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess existing HVAC systems and modernization requirements.
• Develop replacement and modernization opportunities for aging equipment.
• Develop value-based technical solutions focusing on reliability, energy efficiency and lifecycle cost reductions.
• Lead the complete sales process from opportunity qualification to order closure.
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals with engineering and operations teams.
• Develop retrofit business cases and communicate the value of modernization solutions to customers.
• Identify opportunities involving chiller replacements, AHU/FCU upgrades, and controls modifications.
• Develop new accounts and expand existing ones.
• Influence specifications with consultants and contractors to secure projects.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with targets.
• Participate in presentations, site surveys, negotiations, and reporting.
