Job summary

Carrier in Dubai seeks a Sales Engineer – Aftermarket, Modernization to drive HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities. You will develop technical and commercial solutions, prepare proposals, and close deals while maintaining a strong customer pipeline in the Dubai market.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with 2–3 years of HVAC sales experience, excellent English, and the ability to visit sites and interact with building owners and contractors. Based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferably in sales, aftermarket, retrofit, modernization, or project business.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities through customer visits and market activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, consultants, contractors, and facility management companies.
• Visit customer sites to assess existing HVAC equipment and identify replacement and modernization requirements.
• Develop and present suitable technical and commercial solutions, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, controls, pumps, and other HVAC systems.
• Prepare proposals and manage assigned opportunities from initial enquiry through follow-up, negotiation, and order closure.
