Job summary

Carrier in Dubai seeks a Sales Engineer – Aftermarket, Modernization to grow HVAC retrofit business by identifying opportunities and delivering high‑efficiency modernization solutions. You will manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation, and order closure.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree, 2–3 years HVAC experience, strong technical and commercial acumen, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years HVAC industry experience, preferably in sales, aftermarket, retrofit, modernization, or project business.
• Good technical understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, controls, and related systems.
• Basic understanding of HVAC retrofit, replacement, and modernization projects.
• Good commercial awareness and willingness to develop sales and customer management skills.
• Good written and spoken English. Based in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities through customer visits and market activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, consultants, contractors, and facility management companies.
• Visit customer sites to assess existing HVAC equipment and identify replacement and modernization requirements.
• Develop and present suitable technical and commercial solutions, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, controls, pumps, and other HVAC systems.
• Prepare proposals and manage assigned opportunities from initial enquiry through follow‑up, negotiation, and order closure.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve assigned sales, order intake, and margin targets.
