Job summary

Sentrol Automation LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth in HVAC automation and building management solutions across the UAE. The role combines technical sales, lead generation, relationship management, and post-sales coordination with consultants, contractors, developers, and end clients.

The ideal candidate will blend engineering understanding with commercial acumen to manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure and ongoing account development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, or automation.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC automation, BMS, or building technologies within the UAE or GCC.
• Proven track record in technical sales or pre-sales roles.
• Strong exposure to HVAC systems, controls, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and BMS architecture.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through cold calls, site visits, references, networking, and market mapping.
• Present and promote HVAC automation solutions; prepare techno‑commercial proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines to close deals while protecting margins.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline; achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Nurture leads, cross-sell and upsell additional products and services.
• Conduct client meetings, product demos, and technical discussions; travel across UAE.
• Maintain CRM records; submit weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate post‑sales support and handover between sales, engineering, and service teams.
