Job summary

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is seeking an Officer – Human Resources to join the Office of Human Resources. The role supports core HR operations, including performance management, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, Emiratization, HR compliance, and records administration.

You will work with faculty and staff to deliver timely, accurate HR services in line with UAE Labour Law and AURAK policies, while maintaining confidentiality and contributing to a positive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant HR experience in administration or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer HR processes including PMS, recruitment, onboarding, and performance tracking.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data.
• Support Emiratization initiatives and NAFIS registration.
• Assist with employee engagement, training, and HR reporting.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and university policies.
