Job summary

Client of Hanson Search Ltd in Dubai seeks an HR Director to lead the full people agenda, reporting to the CEO and sitting on the executive leadership team. You will translate business strategy into a people strategy to attract, develop and retain talent while ensuring UAE compliance.

Lead the UAE HR function across a multinational workforce, drive change and build capability with modern systems. The role offers a tax-free salary package and a clear path to shape culture at executive level.

Qualifications

• Senior HR experience in a complex, multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, Emiratisation and GCC practice.
• Proven track record in leading organisational change or rapid growth.
• Commercial acumen and ability to influence an executive team.

We are partnering with a fast-growing hospitality and lifestyle group on the appointment of an HR Director based in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic people leader to shape culture, capability and growth across a multinational workforce in the UAE.

The role

HR Director at a Fast-Growing Hospitality and Lifestyle Group. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and sitting on the executive leadership team, the HR Director will lead the full people agenda. You will translate business strategy into a people strategy that attracts, develops and retains outstanding talent while keeping the organisation fully compliant with UAE employment requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a people strategy aligned to the group s growth plans across the UAE and wider region
• Lead talent acquisition succession planning leadership development and performance management
• Oversee reward benefits and organisational design ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and free zone employment regulations and drive Emiratisation in line with national targets
• Champion employee engagement wellbeing and a values-led culture across a diverse multinational workforce
• Lead develop and inspire the HR team introducing modern HR systems and data-driven decision making

Requirements

• Senior level HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role in a complex, multi-site organisation
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, Emiratisation and GCC employment practice
• A proven record of leading organisational change, transformation or rapid growth
• Commercial acumen and the credibility to partner with and influence the CEO and executive team
• CIPD Level 7, SHRM-SCP or an equivalent professional qualification is desirable
