Job summary

Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled maintenance technician specializing in plumbing and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operation for our guests.

You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, install and repair pipes, pumps, valves, and sanitary fixtures, respond promptly to requests, and assist the Engineering team during projects and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate, diploma, or recognized trade qualification in plumbing, mechanical maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience in plumbing or mechanical maintenance, preferably within a hotel or large commercial property.
• Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pipes, pumps, valves, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests while minimizing disruption to guests and hotel operations.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain accurate records, and support the Engineering team during projects and emergencies.
