Job summary

Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences is seeking an Engineering Host – Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical systems across the hotel, ensuring safety and reliability for guests and colleagues. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, fault response, and energy-saving initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an electrical diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience in similar settings, with strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma, vocational qualification, or trade certification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel, commercial building, or facilities environment.
• Good technical knowledge with the ability to read wiring diagrams and use electrical testing tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, with flexibility to work shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair the hotel’s electrical systems, equipment, lighting, motors, and panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond promptly to faults, guest requests, and emergencies.
• Follow electrical safety standards and maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
• Support the Engineering team with energy-saving initiatives and smooth hotel operations.
