Job summary

Hyde in Dubai is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a focus on plumbing to support hotel operations. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, kitchens, and service areas, ensuring water systems and fixtures are safe and functional.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on plumbing/maintenance experience, a mechanical diploma, and strong customer service with proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience as Plumber or Maintenance Technician, preferably in large facilities.
• Certifications or diploma in related trades are preferred.
• Strong guest-service attitude and proactive problem solving are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety and hotel procedures and statutory requirements.
• Respond to health & safety, water leaks, flooding, drains and urgent maintenance requests promptly.
• Carry out plumbing installation, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance in rooms, public areas and service areas.
• Maintain and repair water supply systems, pumps, tanks and associated equipment.
• Identify and rectify leaks, damaged pipework and sanitary fixtures; investigate root causes.
