Job summary

Marriott Executive Apartments in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot MEP systems across hotel facilities.

You will read blueprints and electrical schematics, operate shut-off valves, and ensure safety and energy conservation standards are met with minimal supervision. A strong mechanical aptitude across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. with vocational/technical background.
• Experience in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration is preferred.
• Must meet applicable state and federal certification/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and building systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Read blue prints and electrical schematics relevant to MEP.
• Operate and locate shut-off valves, maintain inventory, and requisition parts.
• Ensure safety policies, energy conservation, and class-compliant practices.
