Job summary

Marriott International's Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi is seeking a maintenance technician to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment, and carry out basic repairs and painting.

You will inspect and service tools, manage inventory, follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, and communicate daily activities to shifts while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in general maintenance and painting preferred.
• Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools and equipment; carry out testing, troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Identify shut-offs and operate building utilities; manage inventory and requisition parts.
• Follow safety policies, use Lockout/Tagout, and document daily activities across shifts.
