Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on hotel systems. You will inspect, test, and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, A/C and building controls, and operate shut-offs safely.

You’ll manage tools, materials, and follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures while keeping the area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Some experience in general maintenance and painting is preferred.
• Experience in hotel engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; test and troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate and identify shut-offs and valves; carry and relocate equipment as needed.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures and maintain safe work areas.
