Job summary

Marriott International / Westin is seeking a maintenance professional in Abu Dhabi to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. You will identify shut-offs, maintain inventories, and follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures while assisting guests and team members.

The role requires basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, with responsibility for daily communication and ensuring high standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and inspect and test equipment.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Follow safety policies and use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work.
• Provide professional appearance and customer service to guests.
