Job summary

Anantara Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to support the hotel’s civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes, ensure health and safety compliance, and respond promptly to all work requests related to facilities and guest comfort.

You will maintain preventive maintenance logs, evaluate equipment usage, complete work orders with diligence, and assist the Assistant Chief Engineer in daily operations to uphold gold-standard service.

Qualifications

• Responds to Health and Safety requests promptly.
• Follow environmentally friendly practices when handling solvents and finishing agents.
• Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains and repairs civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes.
• Follows preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum condition and appearance of finishes.
• Evaluates and responds to equipment and area usage.
• Completes all work orders with due diligence.
• Maintains a daily logbook of problems and solutions, and other activities.
• Completes tasks as assigned by Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Maintains health and safety documentation for the assigned area.
• Reports and documents potential safety hazards.
• Participates in emergency response team as directed.

Responsibilities

• Responds immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety
• Ensures environmentally friendly practices are followed when handling solvents and finishing agents.
• Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains and repairs all civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes.
• Ensures the optimum condition and appearance all civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes by following the preventive maintenance program.
• Evaluates and appropriately responds to equipment and area usage.
• Completes all work orders with due diligence.
• Maintains a daily logbook highlighting problems and solutions, as well as any other activities.
• Completes tasks as assigned by Assistant Chief Engineer
• Maintains health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area.
• Reports and documents potential safety hazards
• Participates as directed in the emergency response team.
