Job summary

Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to ensure health and safety compliance and high-end interior and civil finishes across the property.

The role involves immediate response to work requests, maintaining environmental standards, documenting issues, and supporting the Assistant Chief Engineer in daily operations at the Abu Dhabi site.

Responsibilities

• Responds immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety
• Ensures environmentally friendly practices are followed when handling solvents and finishing agents
• Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintains and repairs all civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes
• Ensures the optimum condition and appearance all civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes by following the preventive maintenance program
• Evaluates and appropriately responds to equipment and area usage
• Completes all work orders with due diligence
• Maintains a daily logbook highlighting problems and solutions, as well as any other activities
• Completes tasks as assigned by Assistant Chief Engineer
• Maintains health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area
• Reports and documents potential safety hazards
• Participates as directed in the emergency response team.
