Job summary

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Marina is seeking a Non-Management Housekeeping professional to inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, and other spaces after cleaning to ensure quality standards. You will run room reports, verify status, prioritize cleaning, and communicate updates to the team.

You will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching staff, while ensuring safety, confidentiality, and professional appearance and maintaining guest

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate with Engineering, Front Office and Laundry.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
