Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year housekeeping-related experience or
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate guest room status to Front Desk promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Engineering on guestroom maintenance needs.
• Supervise the property general cleaning schedule.
• Prepare work assignments by obtaining lists of rooms to be cleaned and check-outs.
• Inventory stocks to ensure adequate supplies and uniforms.
• Oversee daily housekeeping shift operations and adherence to SOPs/LSOPs.
• Order guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms as needed.
• Maintain an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public spaces.
• Communicate areas needing attention to staff and follow up for understanding.
• Assist in staffing, training, and performance feedback for room attendants.
