Job summary

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi is seeking a capable Housekeeping Supervisor to inspect rooms and public areas after cleaning, coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry, and manage daily activities.

You will document discrepancies, communicate changes in room assignments, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while leading a diverse team with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in housekeeping with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise a diverse team.
• Attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and act as liaison to coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk; prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
• Communicate issues to next shift; complete required paperwork.
