Job summary

EDITION Hotels in Abu Dhabi seeks a capable supervisor for housekeeping to ensure quality across guest rooms, public areas, and services. You will help manage daily activities, coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry, and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk.

You'll train and coach staff, monitor safety, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality. You will also handle scheduling, paperwork, and guest relations, ensuring Marriott standards are met and guests

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: at least 1 year.
• Supervisory Experience: at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. to ensure quality standards and assist in coordinating housekeeping tasks.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry; resolve issues with discrepant rooms and communicate changes in room assignments to staff.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems; complete required paperwork.
