Job summary

Le Méridien in Abu Dhabi is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily shift operations across Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry where applicable. You will ensure clean guestrooms and public spaces, complete inspections, and drive guest and employee satisfaction while managing the operating budget.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with Front Desk and Engineering, and maintaining supplies and standards to deliver exceptional service in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area.
• OR
• 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing housekeeping operations and shift coverage.
• Communicates guest room status to Front Desk promptly.
• Oversees cleaning schedules for guestrooms and public areas.
• Coordinates with Engineering for guestroom maintenance needs.
• Ensures supplies and uniforms are available and stocked.
• Supports inspection programs for guestrooms and public spaces.
• Monitors staff performance and enforces SOPs and LSOPs.
