Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily operations of building systems, HVAC and related services. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read technical drawings, and work with the engineering team to ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of engineering experience in hospitality, strong mechanical knowledge, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge for building operations and maintenance.
Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
Good understanding of building services and preventive maintenance procedures.
Ability to diagnose issues quickly with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain day-to-day operation of building systems and engineering equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other building services systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns and technical emergencies.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across the property.
Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded in work orders and logs.
Coordinate with the Engineering team and other hotel departments to address needs.
