Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering and maintenance activities.
• Allocate work and monitor the performance of maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for hotel facilities and equipment.
• Inspect electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance complaints and engineering emergencies.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, back-of-house areas, and equipment are maintained properly.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, logbooks, and work orders.
• Coordinate with hotel departments regarding maintenance requests.
• Monitor contractors and third-party service providers.
• Ensure all work complies with hotel safety, health, and operational standards.
• Assist with energy and water conservation initiatives.
