Job summary

Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure preventive and corrective work meets standards. You will support CAPEX and OPEX planning, coordinate with procurement and external contractors, manage work orders, update systems, and maintain logs, PM reports, and AMC files to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in engineering/maintenance, hospitality preferred.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, BMS, fire systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and engineering operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping.
• Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and assign tasks to technicians.
• Ensure preventive and corrective work is completed to standard.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX planning, cost control, and procurement coordination.
• Manage work orders, update engineering systems, and maintain logs.
• Maintain PM reports, AMC files, and safety and compliance with standards.
• Handle administrative duties like attendance, overtime, and inventory tracking.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Train, guide, and support the engineering team.
