Job summary

Minor International is seeking an Engineering Supervisor at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai to oversee daily maintenance, assign tasks to technicians, and ensure preventive and corrective work meets standards.

The role supports CAPEX/OPEX planning, cost control, and coordination with procurement and external contractors, while maintaining safety and system documentation. Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and M&E knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in hospitality.
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, BMS, fire systems).
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and engineering operations.

The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations, assigns tasks to technicians, and ensures preventive and corrective work is completed to standard. The role supports CAPEX and OPEX planning, cost control, and coordination with procurement and external contractors. Responsibilities include managing work orders, updating engineering systems, maintaining logs, PM reports, AMC files, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The supervisor also handles administrative duties such as monthly attendance, overtime, leave records, inventory tracking, duty rosters, and documentation. The position requires effective communication, technical knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and the ability to train, guide, and support the engineering team while ensuring smooth coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in hospitality.

• Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
