Job summary

Ennismore is seeking a capable Front of House Training & Events Lead for our Dubai venue. You will train the reception/hostess team to uphold high standards, assign duties, manage rosters, and ensure licensing and safety compliance.

You will drive revenue through up-selling and event strategies while coordinating with Operations and venue leadership. The role requires 2+ years in Food & Beverage or hospitality, proven leadership, and experience with reservation/table management systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality sector.
• Hotel or upscale venue operational experience.
• Proven leadership and team development experience with ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
• Event planning and coordination experience with successful group events.
• Proficiency with reservation and table management systems.
• Strong administrative and database management skills; reporting templates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sales and revenue management experience with proven track record in upselling and maximizing revenue.
• Knowledge of hospitality licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and venue compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train all reception/hostess team members to ensure high quality standards and morale.
• Assign areas of responsibility to reception/hostess staff.
• Assist with performance evaluation of line staff.
• Post positive/negative comments for staff review.
• Prepare and coordinate rosters with Operations team.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety procedures; train team accordingly.
• Lead daily team meetings in absence of Venue Manager.
• Control stock and equipment costs; manage assets.
• Maximise revenue through upselling and events; train staff accordingly.
• Develop strategies to increase sales and guest offerings/themes.
• Manage reservations and table management system; maintain database and reporting templates.
• Coordinate yearly marketing calendar of events and promotions; network with hotel concierges.
