Job summary

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking an experienced IT Support professional to provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and hotel systems, ensuring smooth operations for Heartists and guests.

The role includes provisioning IT equipment, maintaining records, and supporting security, backups, and system upgrades, with a focus on confidentiality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years IT support experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows, Office, printers, Wi-Fi and basic network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PMS, POS, PBX and access control is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to IT issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, network connectivity and hotel IT systems.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, telephones, network equipment and other IT devices.
• Support hotel systems including PMS, POS, PABX, Wi-Fi, access control and other operational technology.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex matters when needed.
• Manage user accounts, system access, software installations, updates and patches.
• Maintain IT equipment inventories, licenses and service records.
• Assist with backups, cybersecurity and disaster recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support.
• Onboard new Heartists with IT setup and provide basic cybersecurity guidance.
• Deliver confidential, professional IT support to Heartists and guests.
• Handle IT incidents with accuracy and promptness.
