Job summary

Sungrow in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) seeks an experienced HIL/PHIL Lab Leader to architect and maintain CHIL/PHIL test environments using RTDS and OPAL-RT. You will verify grid code compliance for BESS and PV inverters and validate dynamic plant models.

You will drive automation, troubleshoot advanced control & communication issues, and lead a team of engineers while collaborating with marketing and sales to showcase lab capabilities.

Qualifications

• HIL/PHIL lab experience and lab operations proficiency.
• Strong understanding of grid connection standards and testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CHIL/PHIL test environments using RTDS and OPAL-RT.
• Lead grid code verification for BESS and PV inverter controls.
• Oversee model validation for dynamic plant models and PPC logic.
• Drive automated testing frameworks to improve lab efficiency.
• Escalate complex control, communication, and grid issues discovered during testing.
• Support technical marketing with simulation data and demonstrations.
• Manage lab operations, budgeting, and procurement of equipment.
