Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Product Quality Engineer (Solar PV) to lead QA, reliability testing, and manufacturing standards for photovoltaic products. You will oversee IPQC, advanced PV testing, and supplier relationships, ensuring design and process conformance to international standards.

The role requires 8–12 years in PV quality, strong analytical skills, and hands-on expertise with EL imaging, Hi-Pot, and IEC/UL certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to materials or manufacturing.
• 8–12 years in Quality Engineering within Solar PV cell/module production or with tier-1 suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IPQC on the solar module assembly line and optimize key process parameters.
• Supervise advanced PV testing such as EL imaging, IV testing, flash, and Hi-Pot for reliability assessment.
• Lead root cause investigations (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) for defects and rejections.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61215/61730, UL, and regional PV certifications.
• Apply SPC tools (Pareto, Cp/Cpk) to drive continuous improvement.
