Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Design Lead Electrical-DC who can review and execute engineering activities for Solar PV power plants, including generation estimates, overall plant layout, DC SLD, module selection and inverter sizing.

The role requires BIM 3D modeling support, coordination with Civil, Structural, Instrumentation and MEP teams, pre-bid engineering and site support, plus insights to tendering based on technical expertise.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants.
• Experience in coordinating with inter-disciplinary teams and review of vendor drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs to tendering team.
• Timely delivery of engineering drawings.
• Review drawings by design engineers and draughtsmen.
• Size calculations of electrical equipment and client approvals.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines for inter-departmental checks.
• Support site execution team and pre-award vendor evaluations.
